I. The Start

In the earliest moment, the world existed as a tidy blueprint. The Creator, meticulous but easily bored, intended to make everything precise.

In the final moments, the creator knocked over an egg, knocking the table of ingredients. It wobbled at the edge of the table, as if considering the consequences, then leapt.  Salt spilled into the waters, creating oceans too bitter to drink. Seeds tumbled randomly, giving rise to forests in random places, while missing large deserts.
